Ufological Information - Nova Scotia UFO Reports

"It was a summer day in the mid-to-late 1960's. My family and I noticed a bright light in the clear south eastern sky between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. It was about 1/4 the size of the moon and was almost directly overhead. It stayed in one spot and didn't move at all. The strange light stayed there until the sky clouded over later in the day somewhere between 5 or 6pm. It didn't do anything that I can recall but it was so odd to see this thing just stationary overhead. It was like looking at a bright star from mid afternoon until evening. We never reported it to anyone nor did anyone (neighbours) ever ask if we had seen anything weird in the sky. To this day it remains a mystery. I wish I knew it was. A real UFO as far as I am concerned."

Our thanks goes out to the witness for sharing this experience with us.

Paranormal research "...is beset by True Believers ('They must be, therefore they are!') and True Unbelievers ('They can't be, therefore they aren't!') Rare are those who pursue evidence wherever it may lead, no matter how the results may square with their cherished hopes and dreams. Ironically, both the TBists and the TUists see themselves as champions of objective analysis and critical thinking, when in fact they are defenders of their respective faiths and, not incidentally, their egos."
