Join Us For An Evening Of Lantern Lit Entertainment At The Yale Historic Site And Historic Yale's Pioneer Cemetery

Saturday October 27, 2012

From 6-7pm:

There will be a fundraiser BBQ with proceeds to the Yale and District Historical Society. Tour through our lantern lit heritage museum and historic 1863 church. Meet members of the BC Ghost Hauntings Research Society who will be on hand with information and to answer questions. www.psican.org.

Starting at 7pm:

Cemetery tours run approximately every 20 minutes. Groups will be bused from the Yale Historic Site to Fraser River Raft Expeditions. A 5 minute guided walk will bring you to the hill overlooking the cemetery. Watch closely and you will see the spirits of those long dead as they wander through the grounds. Follow your guide through winding, lantern lit paths into the darkened cemetery where you will learn the poignant tales of the restless spirits of Historic Yale's pioneers.

The lantern tour is a historical tour based on real events that happened in Historic Yale. This tour is not for young children or for those faint of heart as there are bits that some visitors may find disturbing.

Ticket Prices:

Adult $10.00
Youth (12-17) $8.00
Child (under 12) $5.00
Groups (8 or more) $8.00
