History

Without the historical backdrop of the Niagara Region, and particularly the War of 1812, the ghost stories at Fort George would be nothing more than a collection of 'someone got scared here' accounts. But just as the region itself has a history, the Ghost Tour itself has its own quaint beginnings, as does the Friends of Fort George, the organization that keep the Ghost Tours touring.
