Ile-des-chenes, Manitoba July 18th 2008 Approx. 11:30pm
We were in Ile-des-Chenes, sitting on a friend's balcony at around 11:30 pm. Just some long-time friends sitting and talking. One of us noticed a falling star, then another falling star caught our attention. Just by virtue of looking up did one of us notice two faint red lights. We all looked at them, and were all somewhat perplexed. I noticed that they were roughly 100 feet apart from each other, and moving in perfect unison. I would say that it was one craft, as opposed to two flying together. (Drone?) It was 10,000 feet in the air, and made a barely audible whistle as it went by. It's movement was a diagonal/descending drift that would slide quickly to the right at what seemed to be a 45 degree lateral shift - this movement, the 'shift', happened every 250 feet or so.The lights were round, and barely glowing. The craft looked like a Stealth Fighter with no tail section. It was also more spread out, with a lot less of an angle from the nose to the wing.It was visible for at least 20 seconds, it just drifted out of sight.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing this experience with us.
