Some other Divination Methods
Below are some short definitions of other divinations I've learned and practiced.

Astrology - both western and Chinese - particularly when combined together when not doing super, super detail and/or charts can answer loads of general questions.  However, if the customer wants big detail, you'll have to do a chart.  Expect a chart to take at least 2 or 3 days to do.  Birth time is just as important as birth date.  For those who don't know, astrology is based upon what effects the positions of the sun, the moon, the planets, and the stars have on people.

Palmistry - right hand is what's happening right now - left hand is what you were born with {reversed if you're a south paw}.  Palmistry is very similar to astrology and numerology because your palms can "predict" what your behaviour is likely to be in any number of situations.  When you read a palm, you look at all the lines, all the mounts {curves on your palm}, all the fingers, and what colour, height/length, texture, shape, and position all the individual and "whole" parts are.

Tea leaves {& coffee grinds} are not always my favourite methods of divination because many of the shapes are so "muddy" looking they are easy to misinterpret them.  Also, depending on the cultural background of the person you're reading for, a shape can mean something other than traditional European meanings.  So, at this point, at least, I tend to use this divination for "fun, party" reasons or to answer a very specific question.  {My apologies to all very good tea leaf readers.}

Auras, their colours, and aura readings - Sorry, again.  I'm going to ask you to access my Feng Shui pages because auras - the energy field of our bodies - have much to do with chi {or qi} the life force of our bodies.  On the Feng Shui pages, I'll discuss how auras relate to Feng Shui, chakras, and divination.

Scrying  -  like crystal balls - is used to predict "future" events.  Traditionally, however, scrying has been used to "look" at past, present, and future events.  Scrying uses a reflective surface like water or highly polished stone or metal.  Scrying is often related to ancient oracles, such as the Delphic Oracle.

Dousing {or dowsing} is also an ancient method and has been used to find water, minerals and metals, lost objects, and ley lines.  Want a pair of dousing rods - easy.  Take a wire hanger, snip off the crook at the top, and cut the lower wire in half, giving you two "L" shaped rods.}  Place the shorter lengths of the rods in straws, wrap your hands 'round the straws, place your hands together, and hold in front of your chest.  And then, walk your property.  When the rods move apart, you've found something.  What that something is will probably need some backbreaking digging, so…  Dowsers are often known as water witches.

A fortune teller reading a man's palm.

Let's hope that the fortune teller lets him know that he will have some money problems - shortly!  Note the pickpocket  - shushing - as he steals the man's purse.
