Caring, loving, helping, and liking is gentle and respectful and allows the other person free will.  Please use these spells with that in mind.  Never spell cast where it is unwanted or unasked for.  In fact, you should only cast spells upon yourself - for your own empowerment and for your own enhancement.  That is the ultimate free will.  Let other people do what they wish to do - whether you agree or disagree - whether you think it is right or wrong.

Crafting Spells
Crafting and casting spells are as old as the hills.  Though archeologists and anthropologists cannot prove definitively {ie, nothing in writing we can understand} that ancient and primitive cultures did spellcrafting, there is a great deal of anecdotal evidence, such as rock/cave paintings/art, ritual practices/writings, symbols, oral traditions, mythologies, etc, etc.

There are essentially two golden rules about spell crafting:
w  Use natural objects.
w  Don't do any harm.

Use Natural Objects
Of course, a natural object can be any object from nature: stones, crystals, plants, herbs, water, the sun, the moon, soil, feathers, bones, fossils, and so on.  However, a natural object can also be something that has been made or manipulated: a piece of cotton, silk, or wool; a candle; a symbol {say, a star or a knot}; a bunch of stones placed in a circle, and so on.  So, in

other words, a natural object can be either directly from nature or human-made.  There is some latitude, here.  A natural object is what you make of it - you, as the practitioner, imbue it with meaning - and you also imbue it with "naturalness".

Using candle wax as an example: Wax can come directly from nature - either beeswax {which bees make} or wax extracted from berries or plants {originating in nature but then manipulated by people - human-made}.  Then, there is paraffin wax - a completely human-made product.  So, without getting too fussy, candles are candles.  At some point, there has been some kind of human intervention.

So, it is up to you to decide how "traditional", "modern", "strict", and/or  "creative" you wish to be.  In other words, both linear and lateral thinking is allowed.  The best rule to follow is that if the "object" feels right, then it probably is.

Don't Do Any Harm
Well, I think you already know this part … but an additional comment here is:  The best that this rule can be stretched - the most "negative" a spell can be crafted - is for the spirits or vibrations to help show that something is not "cool".  An example of this is one of the Anti-Hex spells:  "Pray to Archangel Uriel in the south, thinking of autumn.  He is the Archangel of retribution and can be asked to show the person who has cast against you the errors of his or her ways."
So, in white witchcraft, this spell basically asks Uriel to intercede on your behalf and let the person who is being "uncool" to start thinking about "letting go", "moving forward", "stop dwelling in the past", "forgiveness", etc.  In other words, Uriel will help the person to get over their negative

This beautiful Celtic knot heart is full of magical meanings.  Red stands for passion and sexiness.  Pink centering to white stands for gentle and pure love as well as fidelity.  The knot represents love that is forever {infinity}.  The heart itself promises love, both sacred and profane.  And the gold communicates the whole of this message.  What a wonderful gift to give your significant other.
